Job description:
Position Overview: Regional Sales Manager West (Mumbai)& Bangalore (KA)
This position seeks an experienced and results-driven salesperson to join our energetic team. This role would provide appropriate product solutions for our customers/clients and nurture them through our purchase flow from start to finish. Candidates for this position should prioritize customer care, acquisition, and company profitability.
1. Responsible for generating leads & achieving the set sales targets in the defined region / segment / sector.
2. Revenue generation and branding the companys image for further requirement.
3. Achieve all key business goals, objectives and set KPI.
4. This role includes but not limited to the development of the department and the company at large.
Role & responsibilities :

2. Understanding the customer requirement/specifications and matching the companys standards and offer competitive price.
3. Make approval/Vendor enlistment with reputed vertical customers by doing the BD work.
4. Do the Pretender efforts for Spec-in and ensure that the USP and other key parameters have been inserted before enquiry/tender is floated.
5. Responsible for getting the Customer/Consultant drawing approvals and getting the PO, prepare the Order Review Sheet and supporting documents for initiating design & production process.
6. Payment Follow up with Customer for ABG, PBG or against proforma Invoice & ensure to follow the credit norms judiciously and focus on timely collection to meet the target (stick to payment terms).
7. Coordinate with the customers & the internal dispatch team to ensure quality, specification and time-lines are met as per the customer requirement.
8. Regularly interact with existing customers to know the future requirement or proposals.
9. Regular Market scanning and competitor mapping for gathering market intelligence data.
10. Focus to develop the HPS brand awareness, identification of new sites and sources of requirement.
11. Building new lead generation in the defined region / Renewable segment / sector / market / etc. as per the targets and business development with client strategies.
12. Prepare & Review MIS reports along with Weekly & Monthly Reports of the sales and work-in-progress.
13. Based on the yearly budget, the sales target is set to each individual, and the same is reviewed on a weekly basis. This review is on enquiries, order-booking, sale, collection, & developing new customers/clients.
ACCOUNTABILITIES AND PERFORMANCE MEASURES:
1. 1 Achieving sales target as defined within the set time frame from Renewable/Industries & Infrastruere Customers.
2. To build and support strong customer relationships and networks with continuous improvement in different market segments.
3. Acquisition of new customers, client & business units and retaining the existing.
4. To analyze and make recommendations, provide guidance to effectively bring projects to completion.
5. Sales with maintaining the defined marketing margins, order booking and collection as per AOP.
ORGANIZATIONAL ALIGNMENT:
1. Reports to Vertical Head Renewables/ Industries & Infrastructure (I & I).
2. Closely coordinates with company executive, all stake holders & partners as appropriate.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, ABILITIES & WORK CONDITIONS:
1. Bachelor Engineering Degree (BE/B.Tech) in Electrical or Mechanical or equivalent degree.
2. PGDBM , Masters in Engineering or Business Administration is preferable.
3. Passion for Sales, Business Development & Networking
4. Familiarity with Electrical and Mechanical Engineering concepts for supporting
5. the sales & marketing functions, preferable experience in transformers industry.
6. Minimum 15 to 20 years of progressive sales experience with strong focus on business development, revenue generation, customer relations and strong experience in transformers industry handling business independently.
8. Excellent verbal, written communication, interpersonal and motivational skills.
9. Good understanding / experience of business development process through consultants and other influencers. Sound analytical thinking, planning, prioritization and execution skills.
10. Depth of knowledge to understand domestic & global market scenario in line with HPS stand.
11. Effective attention to detail and high degree of accuracy.
12. Creative and innovative thinking with fresh approaches.
13. Risk management and strong ability in handling stress and to work on deadlines.
14. Effective leadership skills, with strong focus on operations and business processes.
15. Excellent project management, leadership skills & team management.
16. Commanding, credibility, integrity, discretion, diplomacy, flexibility, emotional intelligence.
17. Strong working knowledge in MS office, analyzing data in presentable/required forms (spreadsheets/presentations/etc.)
18. Local language is a must along with fluency in English & Hindi.
19. Willing to travel intensively and on short notice.
20. The position will be based in our office/branch/region in India.
