Key Responsibilities :

- Develop comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test strategies based on product requirements and functional specifications.

- Ensure that all aspects of the software are tested, including UI, functionality, performance, and security.

- Perform manual testing of web, mobile, and backend applications to validate functionality, usability, and performance.

- Identify, log, and track bugs to closure, ensuring proper reporting and communication.

- Perform functional and integration testing of APIs and microservices using tools like Postman.

- Test endpoints, validate responses, and ensure the system behaves as expected under various scenarios.

- Test mobile applications on both iOS and Android platforms, ensuring the applications function smoothly across different devices, operating systems, and screen sizes.

- Perform exploratory, functional, regression, and UI testing on mobile apps.

- Implement and maintain automated testing scripts using Selenium for web applications and Appium for mobile apps.

- Ensure automated tests are scalable, reusable, and effective in detecting regressions.

- Implement and execute API automation tests using tools like RestAssured or Karate to ensure API performance, security, and functionality are up to standard.

- Write efficient and robust automation scripts for API testing.

- Log detailed bug reports with clear reproduction steps and expected vs. actual results.

- Collaborate with developers to triage, prioritize, and resolve issues in a timely manner.

- Verify bug fixes and perform regression testing to ensure that new changes don't break existing functionality.

Experience :

- 3-6 years of experience in manual and automated testing of web, mobile, and backend applications.

- Solid understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and experience working in Agile teams.

- Familiarity with Agile practices such as Scrum or Kanban is required.

- Hands-on experience in API testing and microservices testing using tools like Postman for manual testing and RestAssured or Karate for API automation.

- At least 2 years of experience in mobile testing, including testing both Android and iOS applications.

- Familiarity with mobile testing frameworks like Appium is a must.

- Proficiency in automated testing using Selenium for web applications and Appium for mobile apps.

- Experience in creating and maintaining automated test scripts.

- Proficiency in bug tracking and test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or similar tools for managing test cases and tracking defects.

- Strong analytical skills with the ability to design detailed test cases, identify edge cases, and ensure comprehensive test coverage.

- Ability to mentor and guide junior QA engineers.

- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and provide feedback on the quality of the product.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and deliver high-quality, bug-free software under tight deadlines
