- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of front-end developers, providing guidance on technical challenges and career growth.
- Foster a collaborative, productive, and positive team environment that emphasizes learning, innovation, and performance.
- Conduct regular 1:1s, provide constructive feedback, and conduct performance reviews for team members.
- Help engineers resolve complex technical issues and ensure efficient and high-quality execution of projects.
- Align the team's goals and priorities with broader company objectives, ensuring that the front-end team is consistently delivering on time and to a high standard.
- Lead the technical direction for the front-end architecture of the company's product, ensuring scalability, maintainability, and security.
- Oversee the development process, from requirements gathering to deployment, ensuring a strong focus on product quality, performance, and user experience.
- Ensure the use of best practices for writing clean, reusable, and efficient code in technologies such as React, TypeScript, JavaScript, and related front-end frameworks.
- Collaborate with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to ensure seamless integration of front-end and back-end systems.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest trends in front-end development and introduce new technologies or practices to improve the team's productivity and product quality.
Technical Skills :
- Deep hands-on experience with React and TypeScript/JavaScript in a production environment.
- Strong understanding of system architecture and back-end technologies, including RESTful APIs, state management, and data flow concepts.
- Knowledge and experience with security best practices for front-end development (e.g, preventing XSS attacks, ensuring data protection).
- Familiarity with Git, GitHub, or GitLab for version control; experience with development tools like Webpack, Babel, and Node.js
