Job Description

The Head of Human Resources will lead the HR function for RAMA Group, overseeing all HR activities, including policy formulation, talent acquisition, employee engagement, training and development, compliance, performance management, compensation and benefits, and employee relations. This role will require strategic leadership to develop and implement HR policies that align with the hospitals goals and ensure a positive and productive workplace culture across multiple locations.


Key Responsibilities:


1. HR Strategy & Policy Formation:

  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures in alignment with hospital objectives and compliance across all locations.
  • Review and update existing policies.
  • Creation and implementation of HR programs to promote organizational development, employee engagement, and retention.

2. Talent Acquisition & Workforce Planning:

  • Lead the recruitment strategy, ensuring that the hospital attracts top-tier medical, administrative, and support staff.
  • Work with department heads to understand workforce needs and develop a proactive staffing plan.
  • Oversee the full recruitment cycle, from job description creation to the final hiring decision.

3. Employee Relations & Engagement:

  • Foster a positive, inclusive, and ethical workplace culture that aligns with the hospital's mission, vision, and values.
  • Oversee the handling of employee grievances, conflict resolution, and investigations to ensure timely and fair resolution.
  • Develop and implement employee engagement strategies to boost morale, retention, and productivity across locations.
  • Organize employee welfare programs and employee recognition events to maintain high levels of employee satisfaction.

4. Performance Management & Development:

  • Design and implement effective performance management systems to ensure consistent, fair, and transparent evaluations.
  • Guide leadership in setting clear performance goals and conducting performance appraisals.
  • Work with department heads to identify and address performance issues.
  • Develop training and development programs to enhance the skills of current employees and prepare future leaders.
  • Monitor training and development outcomes and ensure compliance with relevant certifications for healthcare professionals.

5. Compensation & Benefits:

  • Oversee the design and management of competitive compensation and benefits programs for all hospital employees.
  • Conduct periodic salary benchmarking to ensure competitive positioning within the healthcare industry.
  • Ensure the benefits programs are compliant with healthcare laws and are aligned with employee needs.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of benefit programs and recommend changes as needed.

6. Compliance & Risk Management:

  • Ensure all HR processes comply with healthcare regulations, labor laws, and industry best practices.
  • Keep abreast of changes in healthcare legislation and employment law to ensure compliance across all locations.
  • Oversee risk management related to HR practices, including worker's compensation claims and legal disputes.
  • Conduct HR audits and assessments to ensure that policies and procedures are being followed.

7. Leadership & Team Management:

  • Lead and mentor the HR team across multiple locations to ensure high performance and alignment with organizational goals.
  • Build HR capabilities and ensure the team has the tools, resources, and training to succeed.
  • Maintain strong communication with hospital management, department heads, and key stakeholders to ensure HR strategies are aligned with business goals.

8. HR Analytics & Reporting:

  • Utilize HR data and analytics to drive decisions related to talent acquisition, retention, and performance management.
  • Prepare regular reports on key HR metrics (e.g., turnover rates, employee engagement, training outcomes, etc.) for senior leadership.
  • Analyze trends in hospital workforce demographics to ensure proper workforce planning and succession strategies.

Required Qualifications:

  • Education:
    • Masters degree in HR

Work Environment:

  • Multi-location hospital with the possibility of travel between locations.
  • High-pressure, healthcare environment where patient care and employee satisfaction are top priorities.
