Sales Officer

Role & responsibilities

1. To design the coverage system based on visit and frequency for approval by ASM and be responsible for execution of the same.

2. To meet the outlet coverage and productivity norms as agreed above with ASM.

3. To meet given Sales Targets, by Product and Distributor, for each month.

4. To implement all Promotion Programs planned by the Company, including trade and consumer-based schemes, in the intended manner to achieve desired results.

5. To be aware of and when required, give list of prospective distributors in the territory for screening by the ASM.

6. To communicate with and train the Distributor and his Sales Staff on periodic priorities and equip them with the desired selling skills to achieve the objectives.

7. To ensure that JC wise distributor claims are collected and checked and sent to ASM for approval and settlement within agreed timeframes.

8. To maintain good relations with Key Retailers and represent the Company in a positive light with them.

9. Be a problem solver for issues that may arise between the distributor/his staff and members of the trade.

10. To keep all capital goods of the Company in own custody and with team in good working condition always.

11. To ensure that all reports, periodic and special (like competition activity), are despatched to the Company on time and accurately, to facilitate speedy decision making, using the Sales App provided by the Company.
