Accounts Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management and stakeholders.
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial performance in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for cost optimization.
• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the accounts team, ensuring all financial transactions are recorded accurately and on time.
• Review and approve all journal entries, bank reconciliations, and accounting processes.
• Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring payments are processed and collections are timely.
• Assist in the preparation of the annual budget and periodic forecasts.
• Monitor budget variances and provide recommendations to address discrepancies.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws, accounting regulations, and internal policies.
• Establish and enforce internal control procedures to safeguard company assets and ensure the accuracy of financial reporting.
• Supervise payroll processing and ensure all related tax filings (income, sales, and other taxes) are completed in a timely manner.
• Oversee the preparation of tax returns and liaise with tax consultants or auditors as necessary.
• Supervise, mentor, and develop junior accounting staff, ensuring effective teamwork and career growth.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide feedback for continuous improvement.
• Coordinate and manage the external audit process, liaising with auditors to ensure timely and successful audits.
• Maintain proper documentation and records for audit purposes.
• Ensure that the companys accounting systems are operating efficiently and effectively.
• Support the implementation and updates of accounting software and technology solutions.

Skills & Qualifications:

• Education:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA or CMA designation preferred.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 10+ years of experience in accounting or finance, with at least 5 years in a managerial position.
• Strong experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Tally ERP, Farvision).
• Knowledge of accounting principles, standards, and tax laws, GST, TDS.
