Job Description

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounts Manager with a proven track record in the Real Estate industry. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in managing financial operations, preparing and analyzing financial statements, ensuring statutory compliance, and overseeing accounting processes. This role requires a deep understanding of GST annual returns, contractor bill verification and financial forecasting to ensure accurate and timely reporting.


Key Responsibilities:


Financial Reporting:


  • Prepare and finalize Profit & Loss (P&L) statements, Balance Sheets (monthly and annually), Cash Flow Statements, and other financial reports.
  • Ensure timely submission of provisional and final accounting statements.
  • Develop estimated and projected financial statements.
  • Taxation and Compliance:
  • Manage GST annual returns and ensure accurate and timely filing.
  • Stay updated with changes in statutory requirements and ensure compliance.
  • Oversee TDS, income tax filings, and other regulatory obligations.
  • Cash Flow Management:
  • Monitor and manage cash flow to ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Prepare cash flow forecasts and provide strategic financial insights.
  • Bank Reconciliation Statement (BRS):
  • Conduct regular BRS to ensure accuracy and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Contractor Bill Verification:
  • Verify contractor bills to ensure compliance with agreements and company policies.
  • Coordinate with the project and procurement teams to validate invoices and payments.
  • Auditing and Internal Controls:
  • Liaise with auditors for statutory and internal audits.
  • Implement robust internal controls to safeguard financial assets.
  • Team Leadership:
  • Lead and mentor the accounting team to achieve organizational goals.
  • Ensure accuracy and timeliness in all accounting processes and reports.
  • Financial Strategy and Analysis:
  • Analyze financial data to provide actionable insights.
  • Assist management in financial planning and strategy formulation.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Masters degree preferred).
  • Professional certifications such as CA/ICWA/CMA will be an advantage.
  • Minimum of 8+ years of experience in accounting, with at least 3 years in the Real Estate industry.
  • Strong knowledge of GST regulations, statutory compliance, and financial reporting
    standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as Tally and ERP systems.
  • Advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
