Civil Draughtsman

Responsibilities

• Create detailed drawings and plans for civil engineering projects.
• Interpret technical specifications and project requirements.
• Conduct site visits to gather data and assess project needs.
• Ensure all drawings comply with industry standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to develop project plans.
• Maintain and update project documentation.

• Assist in the preparation of project proposals and reports.
• Use CAD software to create accurate and detailed drawings.
• Ensure all drawings are properly stored and organized.
• Participate in project meetings and provide input on design solutions.
• Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in drafting technology.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related field.
• Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D, etc.).
• Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and practices.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work effectively under tight deadlines.
• Experience with project documentation and technical specifications.
• Knowledge of industry standards and regulations.
• Ability to conduct site visits and gather data.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to provide design solutions.
• Experience with project management software is a plus.
