Job role: General Manager- Marketing (Corporate)

Job Location: Corporate office, Hyderabad.

Rain Cements, a thirty-eight-year-old company headquartered in Hyderabad and known for manufacturing and marketing Priya Cement, is seeking a Head Marketing (Corporate) who can join the senior management team at its Corporate Office, Hyderabad, and work towards maximizing revenue growth and market share in the states of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu & Pondicherry, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, and Odisha.

Role & responsibilities

• To develop the entire marketing strategy of the cement brands with budgeting, forecast and market penetration inputs.
• To establish and execute the dealer categorisation methodologies segment/market wise and develop various schemes for dealers to motivate to push the brand in order to penetrate in the market.
• Should be well versed in conceptualizing, developing and establishing brands especially for commodity or consumer goods products. Should be able to structure brand promotion programs and strategies for existing brands
• Responsible for the ATL/BTL campaign initiatives of the organization. Also be the single point for brand creation, development, awareness, and sustenance.
• Create programs and value add schemes to reach out to the end users as a measure of brand recall in the mind of the last person in the customer value chain
• Create and develop a framework for digital marketing/ marketing through e-commerce channels.
• Co-ordinate with sales team and program manage the sales and revenue growth by analysing trends, bringing innovative ideas and build better topline.
• Develop and execute sales promotion and multi-channel marketing campaigns to increase brand awareness and thereby boost sales.
• Think out of the box in bringing innovations in marketing initiatives. Also need to conduct competition mapping, market analysis, appoint channel partners and marketing agencies
• Do periodic customer satisfaction survey and take measures to improve the same. Also build a better customer experience ecosystem.
• Collaborate closely with management to develop long-term strategic plans for enabling high customer satisfaction and loyalty, and ultimately, steady sales growth.
• Understand consumer demands by various methodologies including pulse surveys and execute the requirements in collaboration with the technical and packing teams in the organization
• Conduct regular check-ins with marketing and sales teams to monitor progress made towards goals and to identify areas of improvement.
• Hire, train, lead and mentor a dynamic team of marketing professionals to achieve the desired results across the markets we operate.

Preferred candidate profile

• Full time MBA/PGDM in Marketing preferably from IIMs or from a reputed institute/university
• More than 18-20 years of experience in marketing management, with minimum 5 years in marketing leadership roles preferably in the consumer or commodity industries with a proven track record of success.
• Excellent mentoring, coaching and people management skills for maximizing marketing employee and team performance.
• Excellent communication, listening skills with a pleasing and approachable demeanour
• Marketing, branding, Marketing communication, market research, competition analysis and program management
• Familiarity with most districts or areas of Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu & Pondicherry, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra, and Odisha
• Willingness and ability to travel to customer locations .
• Should be a team player
• Ability to think out of the box, innovate ideas
• Age should not be more than 45 years
