Job Title: Jewellery Purchaser Manager

Experience: 7-12 years

Location: Hyderabad

Required Profiles: Jewellery Background

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and negotiate with vendors for the purchase of high-quality jewellery components (e.g., diamonds, gemstones, gold, silver).
• Build and maintain strong relationships with a network of reliable suppliers.
• Negotiate competitive pricing and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Conduct market research and analyze industry trends to identify potential suppliers and cost-effective sourcing options.
• Monitor and control inventory levels to ensure optimal stock availability and minimize holding costs.
• Develop and implement purchasing strategies to optimize costs and improve efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant quality standards and regulations.
• Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure timely procurement of materials for new product launches.
• Track and analyze purchasing data to identify areas for improvement and cost savings.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of the jewellery industry and its supply chain
• Excellent negotiation and communication skills
• Proven experience in sourcing and procurement of jewellery components
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in inventory management systems
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong project management and organizational skills

Desired Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, or a related field
• Master's degree in business administration (MBA) is a plus
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Knowledge of international trade regulations and customs procedures
