Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Purchase Executive/ Manager for our Bakery and Cookies production unit in Gurugram. The successful candidate will be responsible for purchasing goods, materials, and services that meet the company's quality, cost, and delivery requirements.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sourcing and Procurement

1. Identify and evaluate potential suppliers to ensure they meet the company's quality, cost, and delivery requirements.

2. Negotiate prices, terms, and conditions with suppliers to achieve the best possible value for the company.

3. Purchase (food Items) goods, materials, and services in accordance with the company's procurement policies and procedures.

2. Supplier Management

1. Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure continuity of supply and resolve any issues that may arise.

2. Monitor supplier performance and provide feedback to improve their services.

3. Identify opportunities to improve supplier relationships and implement cost-saving initiatives.

3. Inventory Management

1. Monitor inventory levels and ensure that goods, materials, and services are available when needed as per Production planning.

2. Implement inventory management best practices to minimize waste, reduce costs, and optimize stock levels.

4. Cost Control and Budgeting

1. Analyze procurement costs and identify opportunities to reduce expenses.

2. Develop and manage budgets for procurement activities to ensure cost-effective operations.

3. Provide cost-saving recommendations to management to improve profitability.

5. Compliance and Risk Management

1. Ensure compliance with the company's procurement policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements of Food ingredients.

2. Identify and mitigate risks associated with procurement activities, such as supply chain disruptions or non-compliance with regulations.

Preferred candidate profile

1. Bachelor's degree in business administration, Hotel Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

2. Relevant experience of purchase for RM and Packing material of Bakery or Restaurants will be an advantage.
