Test Manager - Applications Testing (7-10 yrs)

About the Role :

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Non ERP Test Manager to join our dynamic team in Bangalore. In this role, you will be responsible for leading and managing the testing efforts for various non-ERP applications. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and timely delivery of software releases.

Responsibilities :

- Define and execute comprehensive test strategies and plans, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing.

- Lead and mentor a team of QA engineers, providing guidance, support, and performance reviews.

- Develop and maintain detailed test cases, scenarios, and scripts.

- Execute test cases, log defects, and track them to resolution.

- Monitor and track testing progress, identify and mitigate risks, and ensure timely delivery of projects.

- Prepare and present comprehensive test reports to stakeholders, including test summary reports, defect reports, and traceability matrices.

- Collaborate closely with development teams, product owners, and business analysts to understand requirements and ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.

- Utilize Jira Xray tool for test case management, defect tracking, and reporting.

- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.

- Experience with documentation tools like Docupedia or Confluence is a plus.

- Basic knowledge of Selenium with Java is beneficial.

- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.

- Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the team.

Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 7+ years of overall IT experience with at least 3 years of experience as a Test Manager.

- Proven experience in developing and executing test plans, strategies, and test cases.

- Strong understanding of software development methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, etc.)

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

- Experience with Jira Xray tool is mandatory.

- Experience with risk assessments.

- Experience with documentation tools like Docupedia or Confluence.

- Basic knowledge of Selenium with Java
