Senior Technology Manager - Network Protocols (14-16 yrs)

Job Description :

We are seeking a Senior Technology Manager - Digital Network & Security with 14+ years of experience to lead and manage cutting-edge network and security operations.

The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background in networking, routing, switching, and security, coupled with proven leadership skills in managing complex projects and teams.

Key Responsibilities :

Strategic Leadership :

- Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of advanced network and security solutions.

- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to teams while managing cross-functional stakeholders.

- Drive innovation in digital network and security practices to align with organizational goals.

Network Management :

- Design, deploy, and troubleshoot network infrastructure, including routing (Cisco, Viptela) and switching (Cisco, Nexus, Meraki).

- Ensure high availability, scalability, and security of the network environment.

Security Operations :

- Manage, configure, and troubleshoot firewalls (Palo Alto, ASA, Checkpoint).

- Develop and enforce security policies, processes, and practices to protect organizational assets.

Technical Management :

- Collaborate with stakeholders to prioritize technical requirements and ensure successful project delivery.

- Oversee tools and platforms for centralized management and monitoring, including management tools and central manager systems.

- Establish best practices, and develop documentation and workflows to improve operational efficiency.

Team and Vendor Management :

- Manage and guide a team of technical professionals to deliver exceptional results.

- Coordinate with vendors and partners for system enhancements, troubleshooting, and upgrades.

Mandatory Skills :

Networking Expertise :

- Routing: Cisco, Viptela

- Switching: Cisco, Nexus, Meraki

Security Specialization :

- Firewalls : Palo Alto, ASA, Checkpoint

Tools Knowledge :

- Experience with management tools and centralized manager tools for network and security operations.

Leadership Experience :

- Proven experience as a Technical Manager in a Network Security domain.
