Azure DevOps Engineer - Cloud Infrastructure (5-7 yrs)

Job Summary :

We are seeking a skilled Azure DevOps Engineer to design and implement cloud infrastructure solutions, automate deployment pipelines, and uphold best practices in CI/CD.

The ideal candidate will possess strong expertise in cloud platforms, containerization, IaC, and DevOps principles, with a proactive mindset to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities :

- Cloud Infrastructure Design : Design and implement scalable, secure, and efficient Azure-based infrastructure solutions.

- Automation & CI/CD : Automate build, test, and deployment processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles and manage CI/CD tools and pipelines.

- Collaboration : Work closely with cross-functional teams to integrate and deliver seamless solutions.

- Monitoring & Troubleshooting : Monitor cloud environments for performance, reliability, and security, and resolve issues proactively.

- Security & Compliance : Implement and maintain security and compliance standards, including end-to-end TLS encryption and access control mechanisms.

- Code Quality : Enforce quality gates and best practices within CI/CD pipelines to ensure robust, maintainable code.

- Design Advisory : Evaluate design decisions, provide recommendations, and implement trade-offs effectively.

- Continuous Learning : Stay updated with emerging technologies and DevOps practices to drive innovation.

Technical Skills :

- Cloud Platforms : Proficiency in Azure (primary) and working knowledge of AWS and GCP.

- Containerization : Expertise in Docker and Kubernetes.

- Scripting : Proficient in scripting languages like Python and Bash.

- Infrastructure as Code (IaC) : Experience with Terraform, Ansible, or equivalent tools.

- CI/CD & Automation : Strong understanding of CI/CD principles, TDD, and automated pipelines.

- Application Architectures : Hands-on experience with microservices and serverless architectures.

- Diagnostics & Monitoring : Familiarity with Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, and Azure Monitor.

- Network & Configuration : Proficient in routing, DNS, HA/DR, and resource group configuration.

- Cloud Security : Configure security certificates, private endpoints, and implement automated rollback mechanisms.

- Advanced Features : Knowledge of deployment slots, quality gates, throttling patterns, app configurations, and backup/restore strategies.

- AI-Driven Tools : Experience with AI tools like GitHub Copilot, AWS Code Whisper, and Codex for IaC and pipeline creation.

Qualifications :

Experience : 5+ years of experience as a Cloud/DevOps Engineer, preferably in Azure environments.

Education : Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Certifications : Cloud certifications in Azure (preferred), AWS, or GCP are advantageous.
