Python/Ansible Automation Developer - Configuration Management (2-5 yrs)

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain automation workflows using Ansible, Python, and PowerShell.

- Design, implement, and support configuration management, application deployment, and task orchestration processes.

- Plan, design, create, and deliver automation workflows using Ansible by Red Hat and other configuration management tools.

- Write Ansible playbooks in YAML and ensure seamless task execution across servers and devices.

- Integrate and develop APIs to support automation initiatives.

- Work with SQL and NoSQL databases, including MySQL, MongoDB, and PostgreSQL.

- Collaborate with teams to implement DevOps methodologies and tools.

- Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate processes in distributed environments.

- Utilize cloud infrastructure tools like Terraform and container platforms such as Docker and Kubernetes for automation.

- Maintain a high level of security standards across infrastructure and operating systems.

Required Skills :

- Proficiency in scripting with Python, PowerShell, and Bash.

- Hands-on experience with Ansible for provisioning, configuration management, orchestration, and deployment.

- Strong understanding of Linux internals and familiarity with DevOps tools like Git, GitHub, and Jenkins.

- Knowledge of Terraform, container platforms (Docker), and orchestration tools (Kubernetes).

- Background in working with highly distributed teams and contributing to open-source projects.

- Practical experience in designing and implementing CI/CD pipelines.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Red Hat OpenStack Platform.

- Strong understanding of SDLC processes and experience with virtualization technologies like VMware or Microsoft Hyper-V.

- Ability to learn and adapt quickly to new technologies.

- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a balance of strategic and tactical thinking.
