Leadership Role in Sales/BDM/Key Account Management.
Job Overview:
- As a Business Development/Account Manager in the lending domain, you will drive business growth by identifying, developing, and nurturing strategic partnerships with lending institutions, financial organizations, and potential clients.
- Your primary responsibility will be to expand the company's lending portfolio, enhance revenue streams, and cultivate long-term relationships to meet organizational objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Market Analysis and Opportunity Identification:
- Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends, competitive landscapes, and potential opportunities in the lending sector.
- Analyse customer needs, preferences, and behaviours to customize products and services.
Strategic Partnership Development:
- Initiate and build partnerships with lending institutions, banks, credit unions, and other financial organizations to strengthen the company's lending capabilities.
- Negotiate terms, agreements, and contracts to establish mutually beneficial collaborations.
- Client Acquisition and Relationship Management.
- Design and implement strategies to onboard new clients and expand the company's client base.
- Build and sustain strong client relationships, ensuring a deep understanding of their requirements and delivering tailored lending solutions.
- Serve as a trusted advisor, providing valuable insights and recommendations on financial products and services.
Product Development and Innovation:
- Collaborate with internal teams-including product development, marketing, and operations-to create and refine lending products.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory changes to ensure compliance and foster innovation.
Sales and Revenue Generation:
- Set ambitious sales targets and develop strategies to exceed revenue goals.
- Manage the sales process from lead generation to deal closure through persuasive communication and negotiation.
- Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics and provide regular updates to senior management.
Risk Management and Compliance:
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements and internal policies governing lending practices.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with lending activities by implementing robust controls and safeguards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field; a master's degree is preferred.
- At least 3+ years of experience in business development, sales, or account management within the lending domain.
- Comprehensive understanding of lending products, processes, and industry best practices.
- Proven expertise in account management.
- Strong analytical skills for interpreting market trends and data.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- A results-oriented approach with a consistent track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
