Job Description: .NET Project Manager / Technical Project Manager (.NET with Database Oracle / SQL)

Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and dynamic .NET Project Manager/Technical Project Manager to lead and manage software development projects focusing on .NET technologies and database solutions (Oracle / SQL). The ideal candidate will combine a deep technical understanding of .NET and SQL with excellent project management skills to ensure successful project delivery, meet client expectations, and foster team collaboration.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Project Management:
• Manage the end-to-end delivery of .NET with Oracle / SQL projects, including planning, resource allocation, and execution.
• Track project progress to ensure deadlines, budgets, and deliverables are met.
• Proactively identify and mitigate risks to ensure seamless project execution.
2. Technical Leadership:
• Provide expert guidance on .NET development and database (SQL) design and architecture.
• Oversee the integration of databases with .NET applications for optimal performance and scalability.
• Review code and database queries to maintain best practices and standards.
3. Database Management (Oracle / SQL):
• Lead the design, implementation, and optimization of Oracle / SQL databases for project needs.
• Ensure database security, performance tuning, and data integrity.
• Drive the resolution of database-related performance and scalability issues.
4. Stakeholder Communication:
• Liaise with clients and stakeholders to gather project requirements and provide updates.
• Translate business needs into technical specifications for .NET and SQL solutions.
• Deliver regular status reports and performance metrics to stakeholders.
5. Team Collaboration:
• Mentor and guide developers on .NET and Oracle / SQL best practices.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including testers, analysts, and DBAs.
• Foster a collaborative and innovative environment to encourage team growth.
6. Process Improvement:
• Establish and refine development and project management best practices.
• Recommend process enhancements for software development and database management workflows.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

1. Technical Expertise:
• Proficiency in .NET framework (ASP.NET, C#) and SQL databases (SQL Server, T-SQL, or other RDBMS).
• Experience with database design, optimization, and performance tuning.
• Strong knowledge of integrating databases with .NET applications.
• Familiarity with ORM tools like Entity Framework.
• Experience with cloud technologies (Azure or AWS) is a plus.
2. Project Management Skills:
• Demonstrated success in managing .NET and SQL-centric projects.
• Hands-on experience with Agile, Scrum, or similar methodologies.
• Proficiency in project management tools such as JIRA, MS Project, or Trello.
3. Soft Skills:
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to lead and inspire a diverse team.
4. Educational Background:
• Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• PMP, PRINCE2, or Scrum Master certification is highly desirable.
