Deputy Director- Estate For a Reputed University

Key Responsibilities:

1. Estate Management:
• Oversee the maintenance, repair, and upkeep of all university buildings, grounds, and infrastructure.
• Ensure compliance with legal, environmental, and safety standards across the estate.
• Develop and implement policies for efficient estate management and usage.
2. Infrastructure Development:
• Plan, manage, and monitor construction and renovation projects to meet the universitys growth and modernization needs.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
• Evaluate proposals for new infrastructure projects and provide recommendations.
3. Strategic Planning:
• Develop and implement a long-term estate strategy aligned with the universitys academic and operational objectives.
• Conduct periodic assessments to identify areas for improvement or expansion.
• Promote sustainable practices in energy use, waste management, and environmental conservation across the campus.
4. Budget and Resource Management:
• Prepare and manage the estate departments budget, ensuring optimal utilization of resources.
• Monitor expenditure and ensure financial accountability in all estate-related activities.

5. Team Leadership and Coordination:

Qualifications and Skills:

• Masters degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture.
• Minimum 12-15 years of experience in estate management, infrastructure development, or a similar leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of project management, regulatory compliance, and sustainability practices.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, budgets, and deadlines effectively.
