Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities

The Executive/ Senior Executive Human Resources will play a critical role in supporting the HR Manager in the end-to-end management of key HR functions, including recruitment and onboarding, training and development, employee engagement, performance management, and probation confirmation processes. The incumbent will be responsible for the implementation, execution, and monitoring of these HR processes to ensure smooth operations across the employee lifecycle.

In addition, the Executive will contribute to process improvement initiatives, policy implementation, and HR automation projects, including SAP-HR module implementation. The role will also include data-driven decision-making through HR analytics and reporting, ensuring that HR strategies align with organizational goals.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Recruitment and Onboarding

  • Assist in talent acquisition strategies, including screening, shortlisting, and interview coordination.
  • Manage the end-to-end onboarding process, ensuring a seamless experience for new hires.
  • Design and execute induction programs to align new employees with the organization's values and culture.

2. Training and Development

  • Identify training needs through collaboration with department heads and employees.
  • Design, plan, and deliver training programs, ensuring alignment with business goals.
  • Maintain a training calendar and ensure compliance with learning and development policies.
  • Track and measure the effectiveness of training programs through post-training feedback and performance metrics.

3. Employee Engagement

  • Drive employee engagement initiatives to enhance employee satisfaction and retention.
  • Plan and execute engagement activities, such as team-building events, surveys, and recognition programs.
  • Support the HR Manager in cultural transformation initiatives and Diversity & Inclusion programs.

4. Performance Management

  • Assist in the performance appraisal process, ensuring timely completion of goal-setting, mid-year reviews, and annual appraisals.
  • Monitor and follow up on performance improvement plans (PIPs) for underperforming employees.
  • Support in the implementation of competency frameworks and succession planning.

5. Probation and Confirmation Process

  • Manage the probation review process, coordinating with reporting managers to ensure timely feedback and recommendations.
  • Prepare confirmation letters and track probation completion timelines.

6. HR Policy Implementation and Compliance

  • Assist in drafting and updating HR policies.
  • Ensure policy compliance across departments and locations, addressing any gaps or deviations.

7. Process Improvement and HR Automation (SAP)

  • Act as a key member of the SAP-HR module implementation team, ensuring successful system configuration, data migration, and user training.
  • Identify HR process gaps and propose automation solutions to enhance efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the smooth rollout of SAP and other digital HR tools.

8. HR Analytics and Reporting

  • Prepare and present HR metrics and reports (e.g., attrition rates, training effectiveness, engagement scores) to support data-driven decisions.
  • Provide monthly HR dashboards to leadership with insights on recruitment, performance, and engagement trends.

Additional Responsibilities:

1. Policy Implementation: Ensure compliance with HR policies and procedures. Assist in the development and updating of HR policies.

2. HR Metrics and Reporting: Track and report HR metrics and KPIs. Prepare HR reports for management.

Collaborations: With Internal department

Minimum Qualification & Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree + MBA in HR with at least 55% of the marks as per UGC Norms.
  • 5 plus of experience in Human Resource, preferable from education sector
  • Excellent Drafting and communication skills, fluency in English language preferred

Communication & Working Relationship

Internal: School/Faculty Academic, Staff

External: Government Agencies, Vendors
