Job Overview :
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Developer with a strong background in Customer Service Management (CSM) and the Service Portal module. The ideal candidate will have 7 years of professional experience, with 3+ years of in-depth experience in developing and implementing CSM and Service Portal solutions. You will be responsible for designing, customizing, and deploying scalable solutions that enhance the overall user experience for both customers and internal agents.
Key Responsibilities :
- Develop and customize ServiceNow CSM solutions (e.g., Case Management, Knowledge Management, Customer Service Requests) to meet business requirements and streamline customer service workflows.
- Design and implement responsive, intuitive Service Portal interfaces that improve end-user experiences and accessibility for customers and agents.
- Build and maintain ServiceNow scripts (e.g., Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, Script Includes) for automation and process optimization across the platform.
- Integrate ServiceNow with third-party systems through REST and SOAP APIs, expanding functionality and ensuring seamless data flow.
- Ensure ServiceNow solutions are scalable, secure, and aligned with best development practices.
- Troubleshoot issues related to CSM and Service Portal functionalities, working to resolve them quickly to ensure smooth platform operation.
- Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to ensure successful deployment and integration of CSM and Service Portal solutions.
- Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior developers, assisting them in resolving complex challenges and ensuring project success.
- Take part in all stages of the development lifecycle, from gathering requirements to post-deployment support.
- Continuously assess and improve the performance, efficiency, and user experience of the CSM and Service Portal modules.
Skills & Qualifications :
- 7 years of ServiceNow development experience, with at least 3 years of hands-on experience in CSM and Service Portal development.
- Proficiency in ServiceNow scripting (Business Rules, Client Scripts, Script Includes, UI Actions).
- Experience with Service Portal widgets, themes, and interface development.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow CSM modules (e.g., Case Management, Knowledge Management, Service Requests).
- Solid knowledge of ServiceNow integrations (REST, SOAP APIs) with external systems.
- Ability to design and deliver scalable, maintainable, and efficient solutions.
- Excellent troubleshooting, debugging, and problem-solving abilities.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with a proven ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
