Lead and manage a team of professionals within the UK FS BRC team, providing guidance, support, and development opportunities to team members.

Conduct comprehensive reviews and assessments of banking processes, controls, and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and assess potential risks within the banking operations and develop effective control frameworks to mitigate these risks.

Stay abreast of regulatory changes, industry trends, and emerging risks in the banking sector to ensure our organization remains compliant and proactive in risk management.

Provide expert advice and recommendations to senior management on matters related to banking processes, controls, and regulatory compliance.

Work closely with internal stakeholders, external auditors, and regulatory bodies to address any compliance issues and foster a culture of compliance and risk awareness.

Develop and deliver training programs to educate employees on banking regulations, compliance requirements, and risk management practices.

Support the implementation and enhancement of policies, procedures, and guidelines related to banking operations, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements.

Utilize data analytics and technology tools to enhance audit and control processes, identify trends, and improve efficiency.

Manage client engagements, including planning, execution, and delivery of high-quality work within deadlines and budget.

Minimum qualifications:.

Bachelor's/Masters Degree in Commerce / Economics / MBA/ BBA (or) Chartered Accountant.

Advanced certifications such as CIA, CISA, CAMS, or relevant professional qualifications would be advantageous.

Experience in 2nd line or 3rd line of defence of Banks (preferably UK banks).

Strong knowledge of UK banking regulations, industry standards, and best practices, including but not limited to FCA and PRA regulations.

Understanding of audit concepts and regulations.

Candidates with 8-10 years of relevant experience in similar role, preferably with a ?Big 4? or equivalent.
