Job Description

Within Advisory, PwC has a large teamthat focus on transformation in Government through Digital inclusion. The open position is for a candidate who desires to work with government clients and bring about a change in society. A successful candidate will be expected to work proactively and effectively on multiple client engagements over the period of time and take ownership of the entire project delivery he/she entrusted with.
Responsibilities
FrontEnd Developer
- Hands on experience in HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and frontend frameworks like React, Vue.js, or Angular.
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and asynchronous request handling.
- Strong understanding of responsive design principles and mobilefirst development.
- Experience with opensource tools and technologies.
- Ability to write clean, maintainable, and welldocumented code.
- Familiarity with frontend testing frameworks (Jest, Mocha, etc.) is good to have.
- Knowledge of modern CI/CD pipelines and practices.
- Familiarity with web accessibility standards.
- Mobile development technologies like React Native, Cordova is good to have.
Back End Developer
- Hands on experience Proficient in one or more opensource programming languages such as Node.js or Java.
- Object oriented analysis and design using standard design patterns.
- Excellent knowledge of RDBMS (MySQL / Oracle), PL/SQL and ORM technologies (JPA/Hibernate) will be an added advantage.
- Strong experience with opensource databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Experience in developing web applications using web framework (JSF/ Struts / Spring MVC)
- Experience with version control systems such as Git.
- Experience in message Queues like Kakfa , RabbitMQ
- Experience in the Spring and Spring Boot Framework
- Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles.
- Experience in API development (SOAP and REST)
- Exposure to Microservices
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
- Strong understanding of DevOps, CI/CD (Jenkins), VCS (Git/SVN) and build (Gradle/Maven) systems
- Exposure to NoSQL database will be a plus
- Exposure to Reactive architectures
- Knowledge in Apache and Tomcat
- Working experience in cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their services.
- Experience contributing to or maintaining opensource projects.
- Familiarity with opensource software licensing and community best practices.
