Job Description

A career in Procurement, within Internal Firm Services, will provide you with the opportunity to develop and manage the procurement of all goods and services required by PwC for operational and strategic purposes. As a part of the team, you ll assist in developing our standard practices and compliance infrastructure, managing relationships for both internal clients and suppliers to aid in the strategic selection of suppliers, supplier diversity, and contract negotiations.

PwC US ADVISORY Bangalore AC PROCUREMENT TEAM

The Bangalore AC Procurement team is responsible for facilitating all procurement contracts and supplier interactions on behalf of the Bangalore Acceleration Centre. The team is responsible for endtoend procurement activities including, but not limited to, conducting effective scoping discussions with business teams, identifying the right suppliers, negotiating commercials, facilitating necessary internal approvals and ensuring effective contracting for all goods and services procured by all teams within the Bangalore Acceleration center.

Bangalore AC procurement team members will work closely with the procurement lead and the procurement leadership committee to ensure necessary due diligence is done on all procurement activities according to the governing policies and PwC s code of conduct. The team acts as the first point of contact for all suppliers across multiple categories and ensure timely closure of all procurement requests from the business teams while ensuring all process requirements are fulfilled

Bangalore AC procurement team will also ensure necessary PwC US guidelines are adhered to and will work closely with procurement stakeholders and other control group stakeholders in the US

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Knowledge Preferred

Candidates should demonstrate substantial experience and / or knowledge in Sourcing and Procurement Services/ Execution

Sourcing and Procurement

Primary

Contract Management (Working through multiple business stakeholders to take a contract from start to finish, managing contract renewals proactively, quick supplier negotiations)
Supplier Management (Conducting QBRs, managing supplier performance, etc.)
A strong understanding of procurement operations and/or understanding of procurement outsourcing operating model
Experience with ProcuretoPay (P2P) platforms such as Coupa, SAP Ariba etc.
Understanding of fundamental principles of P2P including spend and commodity taxonomies, requisitioning, PO generation, receiving and invoice processing

Secondary

Spend Analysis
Category savings assessment
Procurement Diagnostics
Operating Model Design
Procurement Process Design
Design and execution of Strategic Sourcing initiatives including RFI / RFP (Request for Information / Request for Proposal) design, development and analysis,
Supplier Negotiation strategy

Supplier Risk Management
Category management with knowledge of various Direct Indirect Categories

Skills Preferred

Delivering significant business results that utilize strategic and creative thinking, problem solving, and taking individual initiative
Emphasizing the ability to build solid and collaborative relationships with team members
Communicating effectively (written and verbal) to various situations and audiences
Managing and conducting quantitative and qualitative benchmarking and primary and secondary analyses of large and complex data.
