Job Description
- The ideal Solution Architect consultant has over 5 years experience in implementing ERP solutions Engagement Management and Finance (Sales / Opportunity / Project Management) module, preferably in the professional services industry
- Experience and understanding of SAP S/4HANA Cloud specific compared to onpremise is essential
- Ideal is implementation experience with multitenant/public cloud
- Experience in software requirements engineering and design architecture
- Understanding of cloud solutions and API (SOAP) structures
- Oral and written communication skills
- Interpersonal and consultative skills
- Facilitation skills
- Analytical thinking and problem solving
- Being detailoriented and capable of delivering a high level of accuracy
- Expertise in driving designthinking based implementations
- Team player, able to provide input into a multifunctional team
- Selfmotivated, capable of working with limited supervision, proactively reporting on status and tasks. Innovation driven mindset and readiness to take over responsibility for the solution
- Adaptable. The role requires a willingness to take on tasks outside of a narrowly defined role, and ideally a desire to be multiskilled
- Willingness to learn and quick adaptation skills
- Willingness to be involved in the further development of the products
- Capable of working to both tactical and strategic timescales
- Results driven with good time management skills
Purpose of Role / Role Description
- Taking over the functional and technical ownership of EM/FI operations located in S/4HANA Cloud
- Define the guidelines, standards and solution architecture to ensure S/4HANA productbased decisions are aligned with the BOS enterprises futurestate architecture vision
- Engage with Technology Leaders, CIP Consultants, Product Team Lead and Enterprise Architects within SAP Product Team and across BOS ecosystem to ensure alignment with the overall BOS enterprise architecture
- Deliver the integration of solutions for EM/FI operations and implement the integration strategy for crossEM/FI purposes
- Identify the organisational impact (for example, on skills, processes, structures or culture) and financial impact of the solution architecture and any upcoming changes (arising from SAP s quarterly release updates or BOS ecosystem)
- Responsible for Functional Enhancements within their area of responsibility EM/FI this includes
- SSCUI Configuration for Finance overall incl. General Ledger, Management Accounting, Consolidation and Bank Communication (for Engagement Management overall, incl. Sales, Material Master, Pricing, CPM, EPPM)
- InApp Extensibility
- Maintain EM/FI related structural changes e.g. new companies, mergers, spinoffs
- Alignment and harmonisation of S/4 Pillar Reporting, Data extraction to xBOS Reporting for EM/FI
- Evaluation of innovative technology usage like Intelligent Robot Process Automation (RPA)
- Functional support for technology regarding API management
- Project support for additional territory onboardings and rollouts
- Advanced Testing Support incl. ticket handling (SNOW as defined in BPM; and SAP OSS Support),
- L3 Support within S/4HANA Cloud and for process spanning across multiple BOS applications supporting as well in xBOS rootcause analysis
