Position Overview:

The Oracle EBS and Hyperion Project Manager will be responsible for leading the successful implementation of the GFS project, ensuring technology-driven enhancements, business process transformation, and effective stakeholder collaboration. This role involves directing and mentoring the project team, managing risks, ensuring quality assurance, and aligning strategic goals to achieve project success.

Location: Onsite role in Oman

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the end-to-end implementation of Oracle EBS and Hyperion, driving digital transformation and ensuring seamless collaboration between customer and project teams.
• Develop and oversee a comprehensive project plan, covering process improvements, system integration, training, quality assurance, and post-go-live support.
• Define and assign clear roles and responsibilities within the project governance framework.
• Identify and engage key stakeholders, ensuring alignment with project objectives and effective communication.
• Conduct regular project status reviews and health assessments, ensuring accountability and timely issue resolution.
• Establish an issue escalation mechanism to facilitate smooth coordination with the PMO.
• Implement robust reporting and control mechanisms to monitor project performance and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Develop and execute a risk management strategy to identify, evaluate, and mitigate project risks throughout the implementation lifecycle.
• Define and enforce quality assurance policies and standards, ensuring compliance with MOF PMO guidelines.
• Manage knowledge transfer and training initiatives across various regions, ensuring skill development through designated leads.
• Establish a structured change management framework to effectively handle project scope modifications.
• Oversee procurement processes and vendor management to safeguard project interests and maintain governance standards.
• Ensure alignment and collaboration among joint venture (JV) members and teams, working in coordination with the MOF PMO.
• Manage the Project Management Unit (PMU) alongside the Deputy Project Manager and other key personnel.
• Identify and propose additional project opportunities beyond the initial scope, contributing to effort estimation and strategic planning.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Project Management, or Information Technology; advanced degrees are a plus.
• PMP or equivalent certification is preferred.
• 20+ years of global experience managing large-scale Oracle EBS and Hyperion implementations, particularly in public sector and government transformation projects.
• Strong ability to lead, mentor, and develop high-performing project teams.
• Proven expertise in managing cross-functional teams in complex, multi-stakeholder environments.
• Excellent diplomacy, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to engage effectively at various organizational levels.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and technical documentation skills.
• Proficiency in English is required, with strong verbal and written communication abilities.
