Network Engineer - IP/MPLS (4-10 yrs)

Job Description :

We are hiring a Telco DC - MPLS Networking Engineer for STL - Sterlite Technologies Limited on a full-time basis at our Gurgaon location. This role requires expertise in Advance IP/MPLS, Data Center Networking, and SDN technologies. The candidate will be responsible for the implementation, integration, and migration of IP/MPLS equipment, troubleshooting network issues, and working with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Implement, integrate, and migrate IP/MPLS equipment and solutions as per SoW, design, and MOPs.

- Troubleshoot network, software, and hardware issues encountered during network activities.

- Work closely with IP technical support teams (TAC, R&D, Design) to resolve critical issues.

- Collaborate with ION Network design teams to develop test plans, strategies, and technical documentation.

- Set up LAB environments and execute design validation tests, including FAT, SAT, TAT, RG, and NRG.

- Ensure smooth implementation of data center networking technologies such as SDN, Nuage SDWAN, Cisco ACI, and Nexus switches.

- Work on Spine and Leaf architecture and ensure seamless data center networking operations.

Skills and Qualifications Required :

- 4+ years of experience in IP/MPLS networking and data center technologies.

- Expertise in Advanced IP/MPLS and basic to intermediate Linux.

- Strong understanding of SR-L and Data Center Architecture.

- Hands-on experience with SDN, Nuage SDWAN, Cisco ACI, and Nexus switches.

- In-depth knowledge of Spine and Leaf architecture in data centers.

- Experience in network validation, troubleshooting, and implementation.

- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
