Infrastructure Engineer - Virtualization & Containerization (5-8 yrs)

STL Sterlite Technologies Limited is looking for an experienced Infrastructure Engineer to design, deploy, and maintain high-quality, large-scale infrastructure solutions.

The role demands expertise in operating systems, virtualization, containerization, and monitoring tools to support dynamic infrastructure needs.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Design, implement, and manage scalable infrastructure solutions.

- Work with diverse operating systems, including RHEL, CentOS Linux, and Windows Servers.

- Deploy and manage virtualization technologies like Citrix Hypervisor, VMware vSphere, and Ubuntu KVM.

- Develop scripts and automation using tools such as Bash, PowerShell, Python, Ruby, and Go.

- Manage infrastructure tools, including Active Directory, Ansible, and Chef.

- Implement and manage container technologies like Kubernetes and Docker.

- Utilize monitoring tools such as Zabbix and Splunk to ensure system health and performance.

- Collaborate on network and storage technology implementations and troubleshooting.

- Integrate and manage ServiceNow, JIRA, Confluent, and GitHub for streamlined operations.

- Ensure adherence to best practices for infrastructure security and reliability.

Skills and Qualifications Required :

- Proven experience delivering high-quality, large-scale infrastructure solutions (5+ years).

- Hands-on knowledge of RHEL, CentOS Linux, and Windows Servers.

- Proficiency in virtualization technologies such as Citrix Hypervisor, VMware vSphere, and Ubuntu KVM.

- Strong scripting and automation skills in Bash, PowerShell, Python, Ruby, or Go.

- Expertise with infrastructure tools like Active Directory, Ansible, and Chef.

- Experience managing container technologies like Kubernetes and Docker.

- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Zabbix and Splunk.
