Sterlite Technologies Limited (STL) is looking for a skilled Network/Telecom Administrator with a strong background in Networking, Telecom Administration, and Video Conferencing technologies.
This role will focus on providing operational support for Cisco IP Telephony and Video Conferencing infrastructure, which includes tools like Cisco, Dolby, MTR, BlueJeans, Zoom, and more.
The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with these systems and a strong ability to troubleshoot, manage incidents, and provide documentation.
Roles and Responsibilities :
- Operational Support : Provide day-to-day support for Cisco IP Telephony and Video Conferencing infrastructure (Cisco, Dolby, MTR, BlueJeans, Zoom, MS Teams).
- System Administration : Support and administer systems including Cisco Call Manager, Unity Connections, CUPS, UCCE, VoIP, and more.
- Incident Management : Troubleshoot, monitor, and resolve issues via ServiceNow (SNOW), collaborating with vendors or internal teams for hardware/software fixes.
- Configuration and Installation : Assist with the remote installation, configuration, and troubleshooting of video conferencing equipment.
- AV System Management : Identify, track, and resolve problems within AV systems used in large integrated conference rooms.
- Collaboration Technologies : Work with Crestron control systems, BlueJeans, Zoom, MS Teams, and other collaboration tools as technologies evolve.
- Monitoring Tools : Utilize monitoring tools to ensure systems are functioning optimally.
Skills and Qualifications :
Required Skills :
- 4+ years of experience in Networking/Telecom Administration with a focus on Cisco IP Telephony and Video Conferencing.
- Hands-on experience with Cisco Call Manager, Unity Connections, CUPS, UCCE, and VoIP.
- Good understanding of signaling protocols like SIP, H.323, MGCP, SCCP, and XMPP.
- Experience in managing AV systems (e., Cisco/Polycom/Crestron/Logitech/Dolby/Neat/Jabra).
- Exposure to Audio DSPs (e., Bi-Amp or Polycom Sound Structure) is a plus.
- Familiarity with remote configuration and troubleshooting of video conferencing equipment.
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience in incident management and fault resolution.
- Experience with monitoring tools for system performance.
- Strong communication skills (both verbal and written) with the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
Additional Skills (Nice to Have) :
- Exposure to MS Teams, Robin, Crestron, and MS PowerShell programming.
- Ability to quickly adapt to changing technologies in a fast-paced work environment
