IP Routing MPLS Integration Engineer - Routing Protocols (10-15 yrs)

Sterlite Technologies Limited (STL) is looking for an experienced IP Routing MPLS Integration Engineer to join the team remotely.

This role involves working with advanced MPLS technologies, Traffic Engineering, Segment Routing, and Routing Protocols such as BGP, OSPF, and ISIS.

The candidate will be responsible for the integration, migration, and configuration of IP/MPLS equipment, ensuring the smooth deployment of network infrastructure and services.

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Configuration Management : Produce configuration templates, including node-specific setups for basic configurations, routing, MPLS, security, redundancy, QoS, accounting, and services.

- Implementation and Migration: Implement, integrate, and migrate IP/MPLS solutions as defined by the SoW (Statement of Work), design, and MOPs (Method of Procedures).

- Network Troubleshooting : Diagnose and troubleshoot network, software, and hardware issues encountered during network activities, working closely with IP technical support teams (TAC, R&D, and Design).

- Routing Protocols : Apply expertise in routing protocols like BGP, OSPF, and ISIS to ensure efficient network traffic management.

- MPLS and Traffic Engineering : Work with MPLS, Traffic Engineering, and Segment Routing to optimize the routing of network traffic.

- System Configuration : Configure routers and switches using Command Line Interface (CLI) for major vendors such as Alcatel-Lucent, Cisco, and Juniper.

- IP Solutions : Implement IP routing (IPv4, IPv6), switching, and IP/MPLS services to meet business requirements.

Required Skills :

Experience :

- 10 to 15 years of experience in IP/MPLS Integration and Routing Protocols (BGP, OSPF, ISIS).

- Strong hands-on experience with MPLS, Traffic Engineering, Segment Routing.

- Routing Protocols : Deep understanding of BGP, OSPF, and ISIS.

- Experience in integration/migration of IP/MPLS equipment and solutions.

- Ability to create configuration templates for various aspects of IP/MPLS networks.

- Vendor Expertise : Hands-on experience in configuring routers and switches using CLI, specifically from Alcatel-Lucent, Cisco, or Juniper.

- Advanced IP Solutions : Strong practical knowledge of IP routing, IPV4, IPV6, switching, and IP/MPLS services.
