Advantmed - Infrastructure Engineer - Windows/Unix OS (5-8 yrs)

- Maintain and monitor all network, security, and computer systems to meet the organization's current and future requirements.

- Responsible for management, maintenance and architecture of storage, virtualized environment, servers, network devices, and productivity tools.

- OS and Application patching on Windows and Unix Operating Systems using the appropriate tools.

- Perform virtual machine snapshot on AWS, Azure and VMware platform.

- Restore operations on the above environments.

- OS Upgrades on Windows and Unix environments.

- Contribute to the maintenance of team dynamics to ensure continued high performance by providing feedback to the Infrastructure team.

- Ability to perform OS and application patching on both Windows and UNIX environment.

- Monitor systems and identify performance issues proactively work within strict time frames and elevate incidents within defined timeframes.

- Test all changes to networks, hardware, software, and hosted applications.

- Monitors service delivery compliance to budget, quality standards and customer and business stakeholder requirements.

- Cater to doing infrastructure coordination related to design and setup activities at different stages of a project work with various vendors and service providers to ensure productive environment.

- Resolve issues and prepare status reviews and reports.

- Professionally represent the infrastructure team as a technical consultant on projects.

- Maintain the necessary project plans and documentation of all system builds and modifications Interact and coordinate with vendors, suppliers, distributors, and contract consultants.

- Maintain a good working knowledge of current infrastructure and future trends.

- Maintain good working relationships with all service providers and vendors to ensure that services received meet expected requirements of contract.

Role specific competencies Required :

- 5+ Years of Experience in IT Infrastructure.

- Experience in Windows, AD (Active Directory), DNS (Domain Name System), DHCP (Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol), IIS, other roles, and features.

- Extensive Experience of- Windows Server Infrastructure.

- Experience in managing and maintaining VMware Infrastructure.

- Experience in managing and maintaining Exchange Server and O365 hybrid environment.

- Experience in Patch Management using WSUS / Endpoint Central.

- Experience in Remote Desktop Service- - RDS- Farm.

- Candidate should have Strong troubleshooting skills.

- Infrastructure Monitoring and provide solutions against alerts/notifications.

- Infrastructure Project Management and Change Management Experience.

- Good to have knowledge of Audit and Compliance practices.
