Reporting: SVP HR & dotted to Director HR.
Location: Ahmedabad.
Job Summary:
- The Director, Talent Acquisition is responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy for high-volume global recruiting, that aligns with the company's global business and high growth objectives.
- This role will lead and mentor a high performing talent acquisition team, continuously improve best practices, systems, and tools in a cost effective, scalable and data driven manner.
- Collaboration with senior leadership to understand workforce management needs and align recruitment efforts ensuring the company attracts, hires, and retains high-quality talent globally, while ensuring an excellent candidate and hiring manager experience.
Qualifications :
- Experience: 15+ years of experience in US recruitment, with at least 7 years in a leadership role managing teams of 15+.
- Experience: on demand, services and corporate roles at all levels in US & India.
- Education: Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A masters degree is preferred.
Key Responsibilities :
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy aligned with the company's business and growth objectives.
- Lead workforce planning initiatives in collaboration with business leaders to forecast hiring needs for corporate and operational volume hiring globally.
- Drive diversity and inclusion strategies in recruitment to ensure a diverse and inclusive workforce.
- Leverage data and market insights to identify trends, refine recruiting approaches, and build effective talent pipelines.
- Serve as a strategic advisor to the executive team on all matters related to talent acquisition.
Team Management:
- Manage, mentor, and develop a high performing team of recruiters and talent acquisition professionals.
- Set performance goals and metrics for the talent acquisition team and regularly assess progress.
- Provide training and development opportunities for the team to enhance their skills and performance.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, continuous improvement, accountability.
Recruitment Process Management & Optimization:
- Oversee the entire high volume recruitment process, from job posting, sourcing to onboarding, ensuring a seamless and positive candidate and hiring manager experience.
- Implement and optimize recruitment technologies and tools to improve efficiency, cost management and effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to recruitment and hiring.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the recruiting processes and playbooks to enhance the candidate and hiring teams experience and increase efficiency.
Candidate Sourcing and Employer Branding:
- Develop and execute innovative and costeffective sourcing strategies to attract top talent, including passive candidates, in a distributed, high volume environment.
- Build and maintain relationships with external recruitment agencies, job boards, and professional networks.
- Enhance the companys employer brand and Employer of Choice value proposition in the talent market.
- Develop and execute global branding strategies that position the company as an employer of choice, in partnership with Marketing.
Data-Driven Decisions & Reporting:
- Utilize data analytics to monitor recruitment metrics, identify trends, and make informed decisions.
- Prepare and present regular reports to senior management on recruitment activities, challenges, achievements and market - conditions.
- Continuously assess and refine recruitment practices based on data insights and industry best practices.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of the talent acquisition function.
- Provide regular updates and insights to senior leadership on hiring progress, challenges, and market conditions.
- Conduct research and market analysis as needed.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Collaborate with department heads and hiring managers to understand their talent needs and provide tailored recruitment solutions.
- Act as a strategic partner to business leaders, offering insights and advice on talent acquisition and market trends.
- Participate in cross-functional projects and initiatives related to talent management and organizational development.
- Business Acumen: Knows industry, company, competition, industry trends, market.
- Budget Management: Manage the talent acquisition budget, ensuring effective allocation of resources.
- Optimize spending on job boards, recruiting tools, and external partnerships.
Skills :
- Strong leadership and team management, coach and mentor abilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven experience with recruitment technologies (e., ATS, CRM, Data analtics), social media platforms and talent assessment tools.
- Data-driven mindset with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High volume recruiting (3k+ reqs/yr).
- Proven track record of developing and executing talent acquisition strategies on a global scale.
- Strong understanding of global labor markets, employment laws, and best practices in recruitment.
- Discretion: Results and quality driven.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Experience in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
- Knowledge of global recruitment practices and challenges (US and India).
- Professional certifications (e. , SHRM-SCP, PHR, or equivalent).
