Job Title - Patch management Consultant
Job Type - Onsite (Bengaluru)

Main Technology : Patch management for Window and Linux
Mandatory Skills : (Must Have Skills)
- 8+ years of IT experience with at least 5+ years of experience in patch management.
- Proven experience in patch management, vulnerability management, or system administration.
- Strong knowledge of patch management tools and technologies, such as Microsoft WSUS, SCCM, or similar solutions.
- Knowledge of industry standards and frameworks, such as CVE, CVSS, NIST, or CIS Benchmarks, is desirable.
- Strong commitment to maintaining the highest standards of security and compliance.
- Familiarity with operating systems (Windows, Linux, Unix), SQL Server, Databases and network infrastructure
- Excellent communication skills.
- Fluency in English written and spoken.
- Committed and responsible.
- Ability to operate and achieve results in an international IT operation.
- Strong analytical skills.
- Ability to work under high time pressure.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Understand the current Company patch management process for clients and servers and assist in improving the overall patch management process within Company.
- Working with Vulnerability Management Office on identifying risks and working with LoB/server owners to agree on risks and actions.
- Support Patch management service manager from Company to access the monthly Microsoft Patches and help in recording the decisions made.
- Work with Security Office and with system/service managers to prioritize any ad hoc patches released by the vendor.
- Automate patch deployment processes wherever possible to streamline operations and minimize downtime.
- Maintain accurate documentation of patch management activities, including patch status, deployment schedules, and compliance reports.
- Coordinate with stakeholders, and other teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Work with operations vendor for patch implementations (vendor does full implementation) and be updated on the implementation.
- Monitor vendor advisories, security bulletins, and patch releases to stay informed about emerging threats and vulnerabilities.
- Stay current with industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to patch management and cybersecurity
