Job Summary :

We are seeking a talented and experienced Magento Backend Developer to join our dynamic team.

The ideal candidate will have 2 to 4 years of experience in developing and maintaining backend systems for Magento eCommerce platforms.

You will play a crucial role in enhancing the functionality, performance, and security of our online stores.

Key Responsibilities :

Magento Development :

- Develop, test, and deploy custom modules, extensions, and integrations for Magento.

- Customize existing Magento modules and templates to meet specific business requirements.

Backend Integration :

- Integrate third-party APIs and services into the Magento platform.

- Work on data synchronization between Magento and other systems such as ERP, CRM, and payment gateways.

Performance Optimization :

- Optimize backend performance to ensure fast loading times and efficient database queries.

- Implement caching strategies and other performance enhancement techniques.

Security :

- Ensure the security of the Magento platform by implementing best practices and addressing vulnerabilities.

- Regularly update Magento and its extensions to the latest versions.

Collaboration :

- Work closely with frontend developers, designers, and project managers to deliver high-quality eCommerce solutions.

- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.

Documentation :

- Maintain comprehensive technical documentation for all development work.

- Document new features and updates for end-users and technical staff.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- 2 to 4 years of experience as a Magento Backend Developer.

- Strong knowledge of PHP, MySQL, and other relevant backend technologies.

- Experience with Magento 2.x (experience with Magento 1.x is a plus).

- Proficiency in developing custom Magento modules and extensions.

- Familiarity with Magento architecture and best practices.

- Experience with RESTful APIs and third-party integrations.

- Knowledge of version control systems such as Git.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
