Job Overview :

We are seeking an experienced and enthusiastic Shopify Developer to join our development team in Mohali. As a Shopify Developer at Zouma, you will be responsible for developing, customizing, and maintaining Shopify-based e-commerce websites for our clients. You will work closely with the design, product, and marketing teams to ensure the best possible user experience and functionality.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop, customize, and maintain Shopify e-commerce websites.

- Create custom themes and features tailored to the client's needs.

- Optimize websites for speed, performance, and mobile responsiveness.

- Collaborate with designers and marketers to implement best practices in UX/UI.

- Integrate third-party applications and APIs to enhance store functionality.

- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues with Shopify stores.

- Conduct performance testing and implement improvements.

- Stay updated with the latest Shopify trends, tools, and technologies.

- Assist with product uploads, data migration, and inventory management as needed.

- Provide ongoing support and maintenance for Shopify stores post-launch.

Required Skills and Qualifications :

- Proven experience as a Shopify Developer with a portfolio of Shopify stores developed or customized.

- Proficiency in Liquid (Shopify's templating language), HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and JQuery.

- Strong understanding of Shopify's architecture, APIs, and best practices.

- Experience with Shopify apps, integrations, and plugins.

- Familiarity with front-end frameworks like Bootstrap or Foundation.

- Knowledge of Git version control.

- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred but not required).

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with Shopify Plus and large-scale Shopify stores.

- Knowledge of Shopify's back-end admin and development tools.

- Familiarity with SEO best practices and analytics.

- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
