Simpliigence - Lead Shopify Developer (5-6 yrs)

Responsibilities :

- Lead the design, development, and implementation of high-quality Shopify applications, including custom storefronts, themes, and integrations.

- Develop and maintain robust and scalable e-commerce solutions using Shopify's platform and APIs.

- Expertly implement and integrate third-party Shopify apps and plugins.

- Troubleshoot and debug complex Shopify issues, providing effective and timely solutions.

- Guide and mentor junior developers on best practices for Shopify development.

- Collaborate with designers and product managers to translate business requirements into technical specifications.

- Ensure the performance, security, and scalability of all Shopify applications.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest Shopify platform updates, best practices, and technologies.

- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development processes and methodologies.

- Proactively identify and address potential technical challenges and risks.

- Work effectively within a fast-paced and agile development environment.

Qualifications :

Technical Expertise :

Essential :

- Expert in JavaScript, ReactJS, NodeJS, VUE, DOM, CSS3 and HTML5.

- Experience in Implementing Shopify Ajax API, Admin APIs and configuring third party apps as well as knowledge of building custom, private and embedded apps.

- Previous experience in debugging or implementing 3rd-party Shopify applications and making unique solutions when it's required.

- Has working knowledge in liquid templating and theming system of Shopify.

- Must carry expertise and knowledge with jQuery, current frameworks of JavaScript, vanilla JavaScript, and ES2015/ES6.

- Must carry working knowledge of Shopify properties or objects, Meta fields, and AJAX API.

- Must possess debugging and testing abilities utilizing browser console and various other tools.

- Working knowledge in 3rd-party APIs and services along with Shopify plugins.

- Previous experience in creating responsive and unique layouts for mobile devices, tablets, and desktops.

Preferred :

- Experience with headless Shopify

- Experience with GraphQL

- Experience with server-side rendering (SSR)
