Shopify Developer - Javascript Frameworks (6-10 yrs)

Job Summary :

As a Shopify Developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining custom Shopify themes, applications, and integrations. You will work closely with the design, product, and marketing teams to create an intuitive and optimized e-commerce experience. Your expertise in Shopify's ecosystem and your ability to bring creative solutions will play a pivotal role in the growth and success of our online store.

Key Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and customize Shopify themes and templates based on client needs and brand guidelines.

- Develop and maintain Shopify apps and integrations with third-party tools (e.g., payment gateways, shipping providers, CRM systems).

- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code that adheres to best practices and standards.

- Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs, ensuring a seamless user experience.

- Optimize e-commerce websites for speed, mobile responsiveness, and SEO.

- Troubleshoot and resolve bugs or technical issues in existing Shopify websites.

- Implement Shopify Plus features, custom apps, and advanced integrations when necessary.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including designers, project managers, and marketers to ensure project deliverables are on time and meet business requirements.

- Provide support and technical assistance to other departments and clients as needed.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in the Shopify ecosystem and e-commerce trends.

Requirements :

- Proven experience as a Shopify Developer with a strong portfolio of Shopify websites and apps.

- Strong proficiency in Liquid (Shopify's templating language), HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and jQuery.

- Experience with Shopify APIs, webhooks, and RESTful services.

- Expertise in developing custom Shopify themes and apps, integrating with third-party APIs, and customizing existing Shopify functionalities.

- Familiarity with Shopify Plus features and best practices.

- Understanding of responsive web design and cross-browser compatibility.

- Experience with version control systems like Git.

- Knowledge of SEO best practices and site optimization for performance.

- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

- Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Experience with other e-commerce platforms (Magento, WooCommerce, BigCommerce) is a plus.

- Basic knowledge of server-side programming (Node.js, PHP) and database management (MySQL, MongoDB).

- Experience in e-commerce product catalog management and order processing.
