AM Estimation and Costing Engineer (Water & Sewerage Projects)

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced individual to join our team as an Estimation and Costing Engineer for Water and Sewerage Projects. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in cost estimation and rate analysis specific to water and sewerage infrastructure projects. The role involves carrying out detailed costing, preparing estimates, and conducting rate analysis to support tender submissions and project planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform detailed cost estimation for Water and Sewerage Projects.
• Conduct rate analysis for Water and Sewerage projects, ensuring accurate pricing and competitive tender submissions.
• Review project specifications, drawings, and scope of work to develop comprehensive cost estimates.
• Prepare and submit cost breakdowns and budgets.
• Analyze project costs and provide recommendations for cost optimization.
• Collaborate with the project management team to ensure cost-effective solutions throughout the project lifecycle.
• Utilize Excel for efficient costing and rate analysis, ensuring accuracy and completeness in all reports.
• Stay updated on industry standards and pricing trends to ensure accurate estimates.
  

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum of 10 to 20 years of experience in tender estimation, specifically for Water and Sewerage Projects.
• Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering or a Diploma in Civil Engineering.
• Proficiency in computer operations, particularly in Excel, for costing and rate analysis.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail in cost estimation.
• Ability to work independently and within a team to meet deadlines.

• Female candidates within the age group of 40 to 46 years will be given preference.
