Job Description
- Lead a team of underwriters & Team Leads to manage tenant underwriting process.
- Review Underwriting processes & lead process improvement initiatives.
- Coordinate with Stakeholders in smooth transitioning of new processes & manage existing processes
- Maintain productivity, turnaround time and quality for all processes handled for both individual underwriters and team as per Standard Operating Procedure
- Help training team build refresher process manual every quarter.
- Develop and train existing and new team members
- Ensure to Maintain Productivity, quality and Turnaround time of the processes
- Suggest, discuss, lead and implement opportunities of automation
- Work on any related and unrelated process/projects required for business improvement
Job Requirement
EXPERTISE AND QUALIFICATIONS QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
- Hold a Graduate (mandatory) \ Master (preferred) Degree with 5+years overall experience
- Min. 2+ year experience in managing Underwriting or Auditing and customer focusing operations experience
- Managed a team size of 30+ FTEs for at least 2 years Skills required to be successful in this role:
- Should have very high level of attention to details. Should be able to find out process failure modes
- Good interpersonal and communication skills. Should be able to clearly express ideas/process related information, both in verbal and in writing
- People, process & Project management skills are highly preferred
- Ability to handle communication through multiple channels with both internal and external stakeholders
- Good with numbers (excel mainly) and a critical thinking
