Job Description
We are seeking a QA Engineer to join our Technology department. The goal of the department is to solve business needs through our proprietary technology solutions.
We are constantly improving processes and efficiencies for our operations staff. The primary focus of this position is to be an integrated quality resource for project teams. Anchor is an entrepreneurial company and this position will have significant impact on the future of the business and its technology solutions as we grow and expand our operations nationwide.
Essential Duties Responsibilities
- Design and execute test plans and test cases of complex front-end and backend systems, preventing bottlenecks before they occur
- Familiar with software development lifecycle and quality assurance methodologies
- Manual testing of applications using multiple versions of a browser and across multiple browsers
- Log clear, reproducible bug reports
- Partner with developers and engineers on a fast-paced team to drive the QA efforts, supporting several applications to identify and resolve defects
- Build operating procedures to ensure consistency in the way we test software
Job Requirement
Desired Skills Qualifications
- 2+ years experience in software quality assurance
- Ability to manage tasks and timelines effectively
- Demonstrable ability to work as part of an integrated solution development team
- Detail oriented
- Hands-on experience with automated testing tools for cloud-based apps with tools such as Selenium, Cypress.io, JMeter, etc.
- Experience working in an Agile/Scrum development process
- Analytical mind and problem-solving aptitude
- Proficiency in English
- Excellent communication skills
- Customer-oriented and cool-tempered
Qualifications
- Experience writing automated tests
- Experience writing SQL queries
- Experience with python or other languages
- Other duties as required
