Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Bids to lead our bidding team to success. As Head of Bids, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive bidding strategy that drives business growth, improves win rates, and enhances our companys reputation.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute a bidding strategy that aligns with the companys overall business objectives

Lead and manage a team of bid managers, writers, and coordinators to ensure high-quality bids are submitted on time

Identify and pursue new business opportunities through research, networking, and relationship-building

Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop compelling bid content that showcases our companys expertise and value proposition

Analyze competitors, market trends, and customer needs to inform bidding decisions

Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, partners, and suppliers

Ensure compliance with bidding regulations, laws, and industry standards

Continuously improve bidding processes, tools, and methodologies to increase efficiency and effectiveness

Requirements:

2+ years of experience in bid management or a related field

Proven track record of success in leading bidding teams and winning large-scale contracts

Strong understanding of bidding regulations, laws, and industry standards

Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills

Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions

Strong business acumen and strategic thinking

Bachelors degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field
