Safety Officer_ Shirwal Plant

Role & responsibilities:

• Daily safety tour and safety inspection to find out unsafe condition, unsafe act
• Monthly safety Audit & preparation of action plan for the findings.
• Taking care of all firefighting system such as Fire extinguisher, fire hydrant, sprinklers
• Working for onsite emergency plan by conducting Mock Drill regularly
• Conducting safety committee meeting to evaluate effective implementation for
• safety issues
• Conduct internal safety audits. Follow up for effective implementation of
• recommendations and observations / remark by auditors.
• Accident Investigation and Analysis to determine Root cause.
• Celebration of National Safety Week, World Environment Day, Monthly Safety Day.
• Addition and deletion in Group Mediclaim & Group Personal Accident Policy
• Implementation and monitoring of Work permit system.
• Preparation and submission of form IV and V to MPCB
• Ensure complete adherence to Statutory Compliances related to EHS
• Liaising with MPCB and Factory office
• Supervise & update all records, testing reports as per Consent to operate
• Reporting to HR on violation of safety rules by employees on the shop floor.
• Adherence to EHS training calendar.
• Safety inductions training for new joined employees.

Preferred candidate profile :

• ADIS certified
• Knowledge of latest industry laws
• Excellent in excel
