- Rationalization of stock points

- Deciding service level of delivery

Transportation arrangements:

- Identification/selection of transporters/Area wise /Region wise

- Freight Rate Agreement-Rate contract -Half yearly

- Finalising commercial terms of Transportation

- Freight approval of new towns to be serviced

- Adhoc- mid term -Inter depot freight negotiation

Freight Optimization:

- Market visit & ongoing rate review on periodical basis conversion of high volume dept dispatches to direct party plant deliveries

MIS:

- Dept wise-Town wise -secondary freight analysis transit Damage analysis & claims on-time Delivery Planned VS Actual

- Comparison with other FMCG/Edible oil companies on freight rates
