Role Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Import Sales Manager to expand our client base, boost import sales, and strengthen relationships with our customers. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in freight forwarding and possess strong negotiation and sales skills.

Key Responsibilities:

- Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve import sales targets.

- Build and maintain relationships with new and existing customers.

- Identify opportunities in the freight forwarding market, particularly in the import sector.

- Negotiate freight rates with customers and vendors to ensure profitability.

- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of shipments.

- Stay updated on market trends, competitor activities, and regulatory changes.

Requirements:

- Proven track record in import sales, preferably in the freight forwarding industry.

- Strong knowledge of shipping documentation, INCOTERMS, and customs procedures.

- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.

- Proficiency in CRM and sales software.

- Self-motivated and results-oriented with a customer-first mindset.
