Position Title: Manager - International Business Development/Network Coordinator

Department: Sales & Marketing

Job Summary:

The Manager - International Business Development/Network Coordinator will be responsible for creating and implementing strategies to drive the company's international business growth. The role requires collaboration with overseas network members, participation in global conferences, and active lead generation to expand the company's freight forwarding business. The candidate will also explore new markets and represent the company in international trade fairs to establish and strengthen client relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy Development:

- Create and implement innovative strategies to grow international business.

- Identify potential markets and develop customized plans to expand the company's presence.

Client Engagement & Lead Generation:

- Build and maintain relationships with overseas network members to generate shipment leads to/from India.

- Schedule online meetings with international agents to explore business opportunities.

- Leverage participation in network conferences to foster collaborations and secure new leads.

Market Research:

- Conduct research to gather data about potential markets and competitors.

- Analyze market trends to identify opportunities for business expansion.

Event Participation:

- Represent the company at international trade fairs held in India, collecting valuable client data.

- Attend annual network conferences to build partnerships and enhance the company's profile globally.

Follow-Up & Relationship Management:

- Maintain excellent follow-up with leads and agents to ensure business conversion.

- Strengthen long-term partnerships with overseas agents.

Qualifications & Requirements:

Experience:

- 5-6 years of experience in international business development within the freight forwarding industry (air and sea).

Skills & Competencies:

- Strong knowledge of freight forwarding operations and processes.
- Proven track record of working with overseas agents and generating business.

- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

- Excellent follow-up and organizational abilities.

Other Requirements :

- Proficiency in attending and networking at industry events.

- Ability to travel internationally, if required, for conferences and client meetings.
