Project Manager - Freight Forwarding Division (5-7 yrs)

Job Summary:

- In our Freight Forwarding Division, you will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing logistics projects to ensure the smooth and efficient movement of goods and materials.

- You will work closely with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to deliver projects on time and within budget while maintaining high quality standards.

Job Responsibilities:

- Plan, organize, and execute freight forwarding projects from initiation to completion.

- Coordinate with clients to understand their logistics requirements and develop customized solutions.

- Negotiate contracts with carriers, suppliers, and other service providers to secure favourable terms and pricing.

- Manage project budgets and timelines, ensuring adherence to financial targets and delivery deadlines.

- Oversee the transportation and logistics process, including scheduling shipments, tracking cargo, and resolving any issues that arise.

- Provide regular updates to stakeholders on project progress, highlighting achievements and addressing any concerns.

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, sales, and customer service, to ensure seamless project execution.

- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies to minimize disruptions to the supply chain.

- Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices to continually improve project management processes.

- Foster strong relationships with clients and business partners to drive customer satisfaction and loyalty.

Qualifications:

- Experience: 5+ years of experience in freight forwarding operations and project management.

Education:

- Master's/Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, International Business, or a related field.

Skills:

- Strong project management skills, including planning, execution, monitoring, and control.

- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project).

- Knowledge of international trade regulations and procedures.

- Experience with TMS (Transportation Management Systems) is a plus.
