Role : Assistant Manager - Business Analyst, Institutional Advancement Team

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Manager - Business Analyst to join our Institutional Advancement Team. This role focuses on leveraging research, data insights, and strategic donor engagement to support fundraising and stewardship initiatives. The ideal candidate will ensure the development of a robust donor pipeline and foster meaningful donor relationships.

Job description:

Donor Engagement & Stewardship:

- Develop and execute personalized donor engagement plans, including regular cadence calls, impactful communications, and updates.

- Support the preparation of tailored proposals and presentations to align donor interests with university priorities.

- Maintain a structured donor stewardship process, including acknowledgments and sharing the impact of contributions.

Research & Analysis:

- Conduct in-depth research on potential donors, foundations, and corporate partners to identify new opportunities.

- Analyse donor data and fundraising trends to provide actionable insights for pipeline development.

- Leverage tools like Fortune 500, Capital Markets, and industry reports to support donor segmentation and targeting strategies.

Database Management & Reporting:

- Maintain accurate and updated donor data using CRM systems, ensuring comprehensive tracking of engagements and contributions.

- Generate regular MIS and analytical reports to support decision-making and fundraising goals.

Collaborations:

- Act as a liaison between internal teams, including finance and faculty, to align donor contributions with institutional objectives.

- Facilitate interactions with prospective donors and stakeholders to build and strengthen relationships.

Gifting and Documentation:

- Prepare necessary documentation, including MoUs, pledge letters, and gift agreements, to support donor contributions.

- Collaborate with relevant teams for efficient tracking and reporting of gifts.

Experience and Education:

Education: bachelor's or master's degree in a relevant field

Experience: 3-6 years of experience in Donor Relations/Customer Research/Project Management

Skills:

- Strong written and verbal communication skills.

- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, Word, Excel).

- Excellent organizational and multitasking skills with attention to detail.

- Ability to collaborate across teams and manage multiple priorities.

- Demonstrated success in cultivating and managing relationships with high-net-worth individuals, corporates, or institutional donors.
