Role: Manager - Teaching Program Lead - Centre for Thinking, Language, and Communication (CTLC)

As Teaching Program Lead at Plaksha University's Centre for Thinking, Language, and Communication (CTLC), this role includes designing curriculum and pedagogies, conducting quantitative research using statistical methodologies, mentoring students, and managing Teaching Fellows. Reporting directly to the Centre's Director, you will play a vital role in empowering students with critical skills for their personal and professional growth. Job Description

Curriculum Design, Development, and Teaching

- Design and deliver impactful courses in communication, philosophy, and humanities tailored for B.Tech students and PhD scholars.

- Lead the entire curriculum development process, including research, material selection, lesson planning, and creating engaging presentations.

- Teach courses and provide personalized tutorials, ensuring students receive tailored guidance.

- Conduct independent research involving quantitative and statistical methodologies to enhance course content.

- Mentor students in academic and professional development, ensuring their growth aligns with the program's goals.

Program Management

- Oversee the delivery of courses, including classroom sessions, assignments, and assessments.

- Manage a team of tutors and Teaching Fellows, ensuring the highest quality of instruction and support.

- Ensure the effective use of the university's Learning Management System (LMS) for all course activities.

- Monitor and report on program performance, including student outcomes.

- Lead the development of a new Minor specialization for the BTech program.

Stakeholder Engagement and Innovation

- Collaborate with CTLC's Studio and Research team to incorporate the latest pedagogical advancements and findings into courses.

- Build strong relationships with faculty, industry experts, and students to enrich learning experiences.

- Design innovative pedagogies and curriculum frameworks that align with the university's vision.

- Drive innovation in teaching methods to maximize student engagement and ensure impactful learning experiences.

Education and Experience

- A master's or Ph.D. degree in Communication, Humanities, Education, or related fields.

- 5+ years' experience in curriculum design, teaching, or program management, preferably in a university setting.

Skills

- A passion for education and deep knowledge in communication, humanities, and related fields.

- Ability to undertake independent research involving quantitative and statistical techniques.

- Strong expertise in quantitative research and statistical methodologies.

- Excellent communication and mentoring skills, with a commitment to fostering innovative and engaging learning environments.

- Ability to manage multiple projects effectively and lead a diverse team of educators.
