Technical Manager - R&D - Water Purification Technology (7-12 yrs)

Role: Manager for Water Purification Technology Development and Validation to lead efforts in ensuring the quality, compliance, and innovation of our domestic and industrial water purification products.

Key Responsibilities:

Technology Development and Validation:

- Lead validations and claim support documentation for domestic and industrial water purifiers, both electric and non-electric.

- Drive new technology development initiatives in water purification, including identifying potential technology partners.

- Ensure adherence to 360-degree validations for all product developments.

Team Development and Lab Practices:

- Develop and mentor a high-performing team focused on innovation and quality assurance.

- Establish and maintain good laboratory practices (GLP) to ensure accurate and reliable results.

- Validate value engineering proposals to optimize product performance and cost efficiency.

Certifications and Compliance:

- Oversee product certifications and ensure compliance with BIS standards.

- Define and implement processes for activities such as export New Product Development (NPD) to meet regulatory requirements.

- Ensure laboratory infrastructure is developed and maintained to support validation activities effectively.

Claim Development and Marketing:

- Lead the development and scrutiny of product claims, ensuring compliance with ASCI regulations and industry standards.

- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop ASCI-compliant marketing communications materials.

Qualifications:

- PhD. in Microbiology or relevant

- 7 to 10 years of experience in the field of water purification and allied industries, with a focus on technology development and validation.

- Proven track record of successful team leadership and project management.

- Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the water purification industry.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams.
