12-15+ years Industry experience7 + years of experience in a customer facing positions, prior Technical Account Manager type roles is advantageousExpertise inIBM EAI tools such as:IBM API Connect (APIC), Datapower, and IBM MQGood knowledge of Linux Containers (Docker), Kubernetes, and deployment of containerized applications/microservices architectures.
Required Professional and Technical Expertise:
Must have minimum 12-15 year’s experience with IBM EAI tools like IBM API Connect, IBM Datapower and IBM MQ
Good expertise in enterprise integration, API management and middleware technologies.
Design and Development of API Proxies with Policy configurations on IBM API Connect
Hands experience on IBM API connect with knowledge on Developer Portal, API Manager Developer toolkit
Strong knowledge of API design principles, RESTful architecture, and microservices.
Experience with API security, authentication, and authorization protocols.
Install, configure, and maintain IBM DataPower appliances and API Connect infrastructure in a clustered environment, ensuring high availability and load balancing for APIs.
Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues related to DataPower, API Connect, API traffic, and overall system health.
Manage and maintain SSL certificates, cryptographic objects, and security configurations on DataPower devices and API Connect gateway.
Work closely with network and security teams to integrate DataPower appliances and API Connect into the existing infrastructure and enforce security best practices.
Assist in capacity planning and scalability efforts to accommodate future API growth and traffic demands.
Develop and maintain documentation related to DataPower configurations, API Connect configurations, API policies, and troubleshooting procedures.
Good monitoring, logging and troubleshooting skills
Good knowledge in Docker and Kubernetes container orchestration systems
Experienced with IBM Data Power development activities like service design, creation, AAA creation. XSLT, XQuery, Gateway Script, XSD, SOAP web services, REST services, SAML.
Experience in Administration and configuration management tasks
Good Troubleshooting skills and monitoring activities
Strong knowledge in DP Firmware Upgrades
Should have knowledge on installation and networking concepts.
Hands on experience on IBM Cloud Pak for Integration deployment over RedHat OpenShift Container Platform (OCP) is highly preferable
