Job Description

To work as a project manager, lead the project team and perform a lead role of Subject Matter Expert for SAP S4-HANA- QM module

Key Stakeholders: Internal

Operations - Manufacturing sites Quality and operation team,
Business - Corporate functions like SCM, Finance, GBSS, HR, Admin, central Quality, CMO team
IT Team (e.g. SAP/ Infra / Quality IT / Allied / SAP Basis/ QeC / CSV)

Key Stakeholders: External

IT Vendors
IT Contractors/Consultants & Customer

Reporting Structure

Functional: Senior General Manager : Head India formulation sites.

Administrative: Senior General Manager : Head QeC & CSV

Experience

A candidate is required with 12 to 15 years of experience in the Pharma/Life Science domain, working on SAP ECC/SAP HANA system for the Quality Management (QM) module.
The candidate should have a deep understanding of the processes and functionality of the SAP QM module. It would be desirable if the candidate has worked in both the IT and Pharma sectors.
The candidate should have hands-on experience working at manufacturing sites and should be aware of quality and manufacturing processes.
The candidate should also have experience in project management and leading different project teams.
The candidate should possess good writing, speaking, analytical, project management, organisational, team building, and customer service skills

Competencies

Good Verbal and Written communication skills (Must)
Knowledge and experience in implementation of SAP ECC QM module rollout and operational support (Must).
Functional knowledge of Regulatory guidelines, Quality and Manufacturing processes. (Must)
Hands-on experience in system configuration and Customization for QM module (Plus)
SAP QM Certification (Plus).
Experience working at Pharma Site - QC, QA, IT, CSV etc. (Plus)
Experience in validation on automation/digitization projects (Plus)
PMP/Prince II certification (Plus)

Graduate in Science/Pharmacy/Engineering . Post Graduation - Science/MBA (Desirable)

To act as a Business Process Manager and provide SME support for implementation/migration and lifecycle management of SAP ECC/SAP HANA system for Quality Management (QM) module and its integration with other modules/systems.
To lead the project team, work with global cross-functional teams across sites and lead the solutions of S/4HANA-enabled transformation project.
To possess relevant domain and technical expertise to lead end-to-end delivery of project (s) that drive clients SAP S/4HANA transformation agenda, while advising them on how to get the most out of their SAP transformation.
To define and document project scope, objectives and desired outcome
To perform overall project management throughout its lifecycle including project plan definition, Schedule management, risk management, resource hiring, cost definition and allocation, team management, stakeholder management and escalation management
To conduct project review meetings to highlight significant updates, assessing risks and risk mitigation plans while providing project status to key stakeholders
To coordinate work with teams including coordinating the activities of cross-functional teams by leading through influence to ensure project timelines are met.
To Collaborate with IT departments to address technical issues, system integrations, and infrastructure requirements.
To engage with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) as needed during implementation and troubleshooting.
To ensure adherence to project management methodology practices, provide team coaching, and evaluate the performance of team members.
Stay informed about SAP QM module updates, new releases, and industry trends, and make recommendations for system improvements and optimizations.
Proactive approach to problem-solving and suggest process improvements in Business Processes.
To track project performance periodically to ensure both short-term and long-term goals are met
Establish and maintain effective relationships with business team, project stakeholders, SAP vendors, consultants, and external partners to leverage expertise and resources as needed.
Ready to travel for project related work within India or outside of India.
